The appointment of an operator to manage their leisure facilities for an interim period.It is the Authority's intention to award a contract (the 'Contract') for a period of two (2) years with the option for up to three (3) extensions of twelve (12) months each.The Procurement is being run under the Light Touch Regime within the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, using a procedure similar to the open procedure. However the Authority reserves the right to deviate from the formalities of the procedures given the flexibilities permitted by regulations 76 of the Public contract regulations 2015 (as amended) in the conduct of procurement for 'light regime services'.

Following ceasing operation of the Blue and White Peris Mountain Education Centre by Bedford Borough Council, operation of this site is now removed from the scope of this contract, and consequently the value of this contract has been reduced.
