The Supplier shall provide a professionally managed, high quality security and guarding Service compliant with the Private Security Industry Act 2001, the Supplier shall be accredited to ISO 9001 (or certification through equivalent independently-audited management systems) and shall be a member of a professional body such as the Security Industry Authority (SIA) OR equivalent. The Supplier shall demonstrate, through the use of industry best practice and the introduction of innovation that the Service will achieve and demonstrate value for money on a continuous basis.The Supplier is to provide security cover at MTC Ansty Business Park 365-24/7.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Supplier shall provide a professionally managed, high quality security and guarding Service compliant with the Private Security Industry Act 2001, the Supplier shall be accredited to ISO 9001 (or certification through equivalent independently-audited management systems) and shall be a member of a professional body such as the Security Industry Authority (SIA) OR equivalent. The Supplier shall demonstrate, through the use of industry best practice and the introduction of innovation that the Service will achieve and demonstrate value for money on a continuous basis.The Supplier is to provide security cover at MTC Ansty Business Park 365-24/7 NB: MTC requires a 24 hour guard service throughout the period between Christmas and New Year to deter unauthorised entry, trespass, theft, vandalism, damage, loss through negligence, fire, flood, breaches of health and safety or confidentiality. The premises which will initially be covered by the scope of The Services are situated at:- • The MTC Main Building – 12,500 SQM• The AMTC Building – 5,600 SQM• ARC – 9,000 SQM• Sopwith – 2,600 SQM• Siddley – 550 SQMThe Security proposals of the Supplier must meet the requirements of the MTC both for physical guarding, and the use of technology and procedures. The MTC reserves the right to conduct its own spot checks of the arrangements laid down by the Supplier in order to satisfy itself of the adequacy of the arrangements, and the security staff in general. These inspections may take place at any time during the Agreement without any prior notice.The Supplier is to provide an appropriate number of suitably qualified and trained personnel to provide a high quality service over the times stated above. The training of guards, their supervisors and managers shall meet the standards laid down by the British Security Industry Association or equivalent. The Supplier shall continue to recognise the importance and impact of the security service and will provide staffs that are professional and tactful in demeanour. At no time will the Supplier allow a shortfall in the presentation of the security service, thus providing maximum reassurance to the MTC staff as to its professionalism.
