two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Newark and Sherwood District Council wishes to invite tenders for the supply of services in respect of the provision and configuration of a cloud-based housing management system with ongoing support and product updates throughout the contract lifespan.
The aims/objectives/service priorities of this contract are:
• Provision and ongoing support of a cloud-based housing management system that will capture information relating to social housing tenancy management, application management and bidding.
• Implementation services including configuration and training
• Data mapping support
The contract will commence from 1st April 2023 and will contain implementations phases to prepare for the system launch. The Council requires the provision of parallel runs to compare with the existing system to ensure of complete accuracy prior to sign off.
Newark and Sherwood District Council owns over 5,500 properties along with additional asset types that will be managed through the system. User information for licences is contained within the specification.
The Requirement if for a maximum term of 120 months (10 years) with the core contract for 60 months, subject to agreement to extend once for a further 60 months.
