Scope

Description

NHG is seeking to appoint service providers for cleaning and grounds maintenance across Essex. The procurement will be divided into two cleaning contracts-covering North and South Essex respectively-and two grounds maintenance contracts for the same regions. The scope of services includes, but is not limited to: general cleaning, window cleaning, grounds maintenance (including gardening), bulk waste collection, supply of consumables, and playground maintenance.

Contract 1: Essex (North) Cleaning

Chelmsford, Colchester, Epping, Harlow

Contract 2: Essex (South) Cleaning

Basildon, Brentwood, Castle Point, Rochford, Thurrock, Southend on Sea

Contract 3: Essex (North) Ground Maintenance

Chelmsford, Colchester, Epping, Harlow

Contract 4: Essex (South) Grounds Maintenance

Basildon, Brentwood, Castle Point, Rochford, Thurrock, Southend on Sea

The 4 contracts (Essex North and Essex South Cleaning & Grounds Maintenance) will be awarded separately to encourage market competition, promote SME participation, and reduce supply chain risks where applicable. There are no limitations on the number of lots / contracts a bidder may be awarded. Suppliers are permitted to bid for multiple lots, and if they achieve the highest score in each respective lot, they may be awarded all corresponding contracts.

NHG is seeking to appoint service providers for cleaning and grounds maintenance across Essex, with separate contracts (4 in total) for North and South Essex. The scope includes cleaning, window cleaning, grounds maintenance, bulk waste collection, consumables supply, and playground upkeep. It is envisaged that the contract(s) will be awarded separately to encourage market competition and promote SME participation, and reduce supply chain risks where applicable. However, there are no limitations on the number of lots a bidder may be awarded. Suppliers are permitted to bid for multiple lots, and if they achieve the highest score in each respective lot, they may be awarded all corresponding contracts.

This is a competitive flexible procedure as detailed within the accompanying documents. To be shortlisted to be invited to tender, Participants must fully pass both Stage 1 (initial screening assessment) and suitability assessment) Participants must also be ranked amongst the top 5 highest suppliers for the scored questions. Notting Hill Genesis reserves the right to shortlist all additional Participants who are within 5% marks of the 5th highest scoring participant(s). In the event that Notting Hill Genesis exercises this discretion, it will notify all Participants in writing of the number of Participants to be shortlisted.

Participants should be aware that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE) may apply to this contract(s).
