This is a prior information notice to give advance notification to potential suppliers that may be interested in discussing with the Commissioners the requirements of the service and applying for this future contract opportunity.

Domiciliary and personal care (Home Care) services are commissioned as a key means of meeting the Councils statutory duties to provide services under Community Care law.

There are currently approximately 2200 Home Care Service Users, utilising approximately 25,000 – 30,000 hours of care per week.

The current contracts were let in 2017 and had a geographical locality-based focus designed to maximise efficiency and to align providers with wider integrated care and NHS partners.
