two.1.4) Short description

Redeveloping the existing West Wickham Library. It is a mixed-use development in West Wickham, London Borough of Bromley, comprised of the following:

• Extension and Refurbishment of West Wickham Library

• Delivery of 26 homes (14 affordable and 12 private sale)

• Upgrade and adoption of a service road.

• Delivery of landscaping and public realm work

The site is situated in West Wickham within the London Borough of Bromley and is split into two parts, comprising of the West Wickham Library on Glebe Way and the redevelopment of the public car park to facilitate affordable housing units on the site to the rear of the library.

The tendered works are split into three lots, which include:

LOT 1 – Library - estimated value£3,705,000.00,

LOT 2 – Housing and Road- estimated value £5,300,000.00, and

LOT 3 – All Works - £8,725,000.00.

Tenderers must select one Lot for tender only.

The award of the smaller lots (Lot 1 and Lot 2) is dependent on there being viable and compliant tenders received for both of the smaller lots.

Type of Contract JCT contact. There will be three separate JCT’s included which will contain descriptions of the works relevant to the Lot being tendered for, as well as varying LAD figures.
