two.1.4) Short description
Accent Housing Ltd (Accent) sought the services of a single contractor to deliver the services and works covering Accent’s 5 regional geographical areas for the provision of, Asbestos Consultancy, Surveying, Analytical services, Remedial works, Project management and associated services. Utilising Accent’s Encompass DPS (FTS Contract Notice 2022/S 000-000123).
The services and works required are essential to support and underpin Accent’s statutory responsibility, to provide and ensure every home/property within its management responsibility is safe and up to relevant British Standard.
Contractors are expected to deliver against the programme and shall be required to undertake:
(i) Delivery of Asbestos consultancy to ensure the Client remains compliant to relevant regulations and in-line with the Client’s Asbestos Policy and Asbestos Management Plan.
(ii) The provision of all asbestos surveys and re-inspections for all domestic properties in the Client’s portfolio under direction from the Client and charged under a Price Per Survey (PPS) model.
(iii) The provision of all asbestos surveys and re-inspections for all communal properties in the Client’s portfolio under direction from the Client and charged under a Price Per Survey (PPS) model.
(iv) The provision of revised re-inspection frequencies in-line with the Accent re-inspection frequency guide (Appendix 3) under direction from the Client and charged under a Price Per Survey (PPS) model.
(v) The provision of all asbestos analytical support charged under a Price Per Analytical Attendance Price model (PPAA).
(vi) Co-ordination of Non-licenced, Notifiable and Licenced Remedial works for all properties charged through tendering or quotes.
(vii) Carrying out all duties of the External Asbestos Consultant detailed within the Client’s Asbestos Management plan.
(viii) Other occasional ad hoc works which will be charged under day-work rates or as agreed with the Client.
Contract period 36 months with the option for 1 x 12-month extension.
