The project comprises the undertaking of fixed wire testing together with Electrical Installation Condition Reports [EICR] to General Needs Properties and Livewell Schemes/Projects owned and managed by South Yorkshire Housing Association Limited. Additionally, any consequential remedial work or work to make installations safe following the testing/condition inspection regime are also included. Properties will generally be occupied, and the Contractor will be required to contact the residents or scheme manager (on Livewell schemes/projects) to arrange a suitable time/date to undertake the necessary work requirements. The Association wishes to enter into a ‘Term Contract’ with the successful ‘tendering contractors’; this will comprise of 2 Lots:

Lot 1 - General Needs properties – we all looking to appoint up to 2 contractors

Lot 2 - Livewell schemes/projects – we all looking to appoint 1 contractor

Bidders may tender for and be appointed to both Lots of the contract

The Contract awarded will be for a duration of three years with an option for an extension for up to an additional three years to be reviewed annually.
