two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Swindon Borough Council’s (SBC) Adults Services is Tendering for the provision of an on-premises Adult Services Case Management and Finance system. This is a business-critical software which enables the authority to meet the statutory requirements of an Adults Service and the finance requirements associated with this. The contract start date for the procured system will be in November 2022 and the system will need to be live in-time for the Care cap timelines (currently October 2023).
The initial contract term will be for 5 years plus extensions for up to 10 years, each extension will be a minimum of 1 year in length. This will make a potential total contract term of 15 years as stated in the ITT documents. Estimated contract spend is between £1,000,000 and £1,700,000 for the initial 5 year contract term and between £2,000,000 and £3,800,000 across the potential total 15 year contract term. Full details relating to the Services are provided in the tender documents.
To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents. Tender clarifications to be submitted in writing via Messaging in ProContract tender portal, by 23rd September 2022, 1200 hrs noon UK Local time. The Council’s responses to these clarification questions will be issued periodically on the ProContract tender portal.
