Govan Housing Association plans to engage a highly experienced and competent contractor to carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to gas-fired central heating systems at the stock it owns in the Govan/ Ibrox area of Glasgow.

Annual gas service and reactive maintenance including parts, checking of flues and pipework etc.;
Reactive maintenance of gas equipment including hot water and heating installations and appliances;
Testing and servicing smoke, heat, carbon monoxide detectors;
Installation of new (or replacement of existing) interconnected smoke detectors and heat alarms to provide (or maintain) an LD1 or LD2 category level of protection;
Installation of new (or replacement) CO detectors;
Testing gas cookers;
Replacing and/or installing boilers where current systems are deemed by Govan HA to be beyond economic repair
Replacing and/or relocating radiators;
Removing and/or replacing gas fires and surrounds;

Detector installers delivering the services must be certified Aico 'Expert Installer LD2 CPD trained' or equivalent
