Gateway to Homechoice – IT SystemGateway to Homechoice is made up of a group of seven local authorities within the Gateway partnership as below: 1. Babergh District Council2. Braintree District Council3. Colchester Borough Council4. East Suffolk Council5. Ipswich Borough Council6. Maldon District Council7. Mid Suffolk District CouncilThe partnership will shortly be re-procuring its IT system and will need an integrated housing register, choice based lettings and homelessness system with the following requirements:• Unlimited number of licences available/users of the system• Online registration and housing register application process • Ability for applicants to view and edit their housing register information• Document upload facility for applicants to provide verification documents• Secure customer portal where customers can access their account• Built-in logic so that the system determines Band and bedroom need taken from the Gateway Allocations policy• Built-in logic for shortlisting - a dynamic shortlisting whereby the system shortlists properties based on the Allocations policy and s• Homelessness module which links to the housing register module and also adheres to the data collection requirements set by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local GovernmentThere are also approximately 40 housing providers that use the system to advertise their void properties and to shortlist applicants and allocate their properties.Contracts will be held with each member of the group separatelyThe full tender will go live in Early to Mid-August 2021
