This Market Sounding Briefing and Questionnaire, issued by the Parliamentary Commercial Directorate seeks to obtain market feedback in relation for the new Cleaning Services contract.The Authority’s goals for the cleaning contract include: • Cleaning Excellence: To have a cleaning operation that is a collaboration between teams and provides a consistent high-quality service across the whole estate with minimum disruption • Innovation: To always look for betterment, efficiencies, and future technologies to improve the cleaning standards and working lives of those delivering cleaning services • People and Culture: To have a fully integrated and diverse cleaning team who are proud to work on the Parliamentary estate, who feel valued, listened to and respected • Sustainability: To deliver products and services that align to the environmental and social sustainability goals of the Houses including diversity and inclusion • Quality and Control: To deliver high standards of cleanliness that are actively measured through key performance indicators, using this to identify any areas for continuous improvement and collaboration with the service provider and internal cleaning teams • Value for Money: Delivering excellent cleaning services that offer the best value for money through a strategic focus on resource, equipment and innovation. Please note that none of the information submitted by you as part of this market engagement will be used in any way for future supplier selection or tender evaluation purposes. Information gathered is strictly only for market research and to inform the Authority of future scope of services and sourcing options that may be available. Interested parties and suppliers are invited to submit feedback in response to a market sounding questionnaire and to confirm their interest in a possible future tender opportunity to offer relevant professional services to the Authority. Additional Specification - Parliament is considering including waste management, pest control services as part of this contract as well as landscaping and grounds maintenance. This will be confirmed at a later date.
