Description

The Council are looking to procure three specialist consultant teams/consortia ("Design Teams"), each with wider range experience and in-depth knowledge of urban master planning to deliver three Urban Regeneration Frameworks ("Frameworks").  One for Abbey Wood, one for Plumstead and one for Woolwich Town Centre.  To help guide and inform the development of the Frameworks, a series of engagement activities with the local community and key stakeholders will be required to understand their key priorities and ambitions, to agree a new place vision for each area. Each area Framework will need to detail the opportunities and challenges and explore the possibilities for a place and people focused regeneration. The appointed consultant teams will need to bring fresh perspectives to help shape the future place vision and regeneration strategy so these areas deliver greater benefits to their communities, businesses and wider stakeholders.

This opportunity is set out as three Lots. Applicants will be able to apply for all three Lots via one process, but please note that applicants will only be able to win one of the three Lots if they are successful.

Description of how multiple lots may be awarded:

In each Lot, the bidder with the highest total score will win that Lot. Where an Applicant wins more than one Lot, or all three of the Lots, then that Applicant will need to choose the ONE Lot they wish to be awarded to. That Applicant will then be withdrawn from the other Lot(s) and the Applicant with the second highest score will be appointed to that Lot. The process will continue like that until all three Lots are allocated to different suppliers.


Lot 1. Abbey Wood

Description

To help guide and inform the development of the Framework for Abbey Wood, a series of engagement activities with the local community and key stakeholders will be required to understand their key priorities and ambitions, to agree a new place vision for the area.

The Abbey Wood Framework will need to detail the opportunities and challenges and explore the possibilities for a place and people focused regeneration. The appointed consultant teams will need to bring fresh perspectives to help shape the future place vision and regeneration strategy so the area delivers greater benefits to its community, its businesses and its wider stakeholders.

  • £210,000 excluding VAT
  • £252,000 including VAT

Lot 2. Plumstead

Description

To help guide and inform the development of the Framework for Plumstead, a series of engagement activities with the local community and key stakeholders will be required to understand their key priorities and ambitions, to agree a new place vision for the area.

The Plumstead Framework will need to detail the opportunities and challenges and explore the possibilities for a place and people focused regeneration. The appointed consultant teams will need to bring fresh perspectives to help shape the future place vision and regeneration strategy so the area delivers greater benefits to its community, its businesses and its wider stakeholders.

Description

The Woolwich Town Centre Framework will need to detail the opportunities and challenges and explore the possibilities for a place and people focused regeneration. The appointed consultant teams will need to bring fresh perspectives to help shape the future place vision and regeneration strategy so the area delivers greater benefits to its community, its businesses and its wider stakeholders.
