North Hertfordshire is a mix of distinctly individual vibrant market towns, beautiful villages and accessible, open countryside, that come together to make a sum greater that its parts. One of ten districts in Hertfordshire, North Hertfordshire is located to the north side of the County. North Herts Council is inviting tenders from suitable partners who wish to be considered to manage and operate the Council’s Leisure and Active Communities Services . This procurement falls under Schedule 3 of the Public Contract Regulations - Social and Other Specific Services, and the Council is using the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation. The service will include Leisure and Active Communities Services, which include the management, operation and delivery of:• North Herts Leisure Centre• Hitchin Swimming Centre and Archers Health and Fitness Club• Royston Leisure Centre• Letchworth Outdoor Pool• Fearnhill Sports Centre• Active Communities ProgrammeThe Contract will be let for a period of 10 years and is intended to commence on 1 April 2024 with the option to extend by a further period of up to 5 years.
