two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The service will operate throughout the growing season between approximately March and November each year and will provide nine (9) grass cuts with reforming edges on two (2) of these visits; two (2) weedkills; and three (3) hedge trims at each property, each year. The service is predominantly provided to elderly and infirm council tenants, but it may also be provided to non-council tenants who meet the same criteria on a chargeable basis. The Ad-Hoc Garden Works is to provide garden works to properties throughout North Lanarkshire, including general tidying and maintenance within gardens, grass cutting, hedge cutting, tree pruning, reforming garden areas, clearance of debris and path clearing, on an ad-hoc basis throughout North Lanarkshire. This ad-hoc service is predominantly carried out in void properties, properties recently allocated through the void process, or provided as an initial one-off service to elderly or infirm tenants who have been assessed and qualify to be included on our Garden Assistance Scheme.
