The Central Housing Investment Consortium (CHIC) Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation. It currently has over sixty members which consist of Housing Associations and Local Authorities with housing stock, which service over half a million social housing homes across the UK.
CHIC now seeks interest from suitably qualified and experienced consultants in order to select consultants to enter into contract to provide Multi-disciplinary Building Consultancy Services across 6 lots.
The range of services will include Integrated Consultancy Teams (ICT) and individual appointments including Building Surveyor, Contract Administrator, Building Services Engineer, Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant, Fire Risk Assessors, Structural Engineers, Asset Management Consultants, Principal Designers and any other roles that may be required to support the Technical Services teams in the delivery of high quality, on time, on budget works.

However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.CHIC, in its capacity as a Central Purchasing Body, is administering this procurement on behalf of its Members (Contracting Authority).
The contracting Authority expressly reserves the right:
1) To award one, some, all or no Lots;
2) not to award any contract/framework agreement as a result of the procurement process commenced by publication of this notice or to cancel the procurement at any stage; and
3) to make whatever changes it may see fit to the content and structure of the tendering competition
and in no circumstances will the Authority be liable for any costs incurred by Economic Operators or Candidates. Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken prior to contract award is accordingly at the sole risk of the Economic Operator or Candidate participating in this procurement process. This project will be used to progress the Government's wider social, economic and environmental objectives.
No business whatsoever is guaranteed under any resulting framework agreement or contract indeed there si no guarantee that any framework agreement or contract will be put in place in relation to this notice. No compensation etc will be paid if a contract or framework agreement is withdrawn for any reason. Economic Operators should take part in this process only on the basis that they fully understand and accept this position.
