two.1.4) Short description

The University of East Anglia requires a Consultant Register for the Estates and Building Division, so that it has a pool of consultants from whom it can call-off directly or seek tenders (via mini-competitions) for specific projects as they arise. On an annual basis the University embarks on a wide variety of projects that fall into the category of Capital and minor works - collectively they make up the Services. Currently the Capital and Minor Works spend over the next 4 years is in the region of 37 500 000 GBP (exclusive of Building 3, Lasdun Wall which is already underway) but this may change if further funding becomes available. It embraces consultancy services to support construction, alterations and refurbishment of the existing built estate and the infrastructure associated with the estate across the Campus.

The framework will be split into the following 7 Lots:

1) Project management services

2) Architectural and master planning services

3) Quantity surveying services

4) Mechanical and electrical engineering consultancy services

5) Civil and structural engineering consultancy services

6) Planning consultancy and property advice

7) Building surveying and clerk of works

There are no restrictions on the number of Lots that bidders can apply for or win.
