This is a competitive procurement using the open procedure conducted in accordance with the Public Procurement 2015 Regulations

Nottinghamshire County Council (the ‘Council’) is seeking tenders from providers wishing to join a Framework Agreement for the provision of Assisting and Moving Training to Council staff.

The Framework Agreement will be formed between the Council and up to 2 organisations who are able to provide Assisting and Moving training events. One organisation will be designated the lead provider and the other organisation the secondary provider.

The Framework Agreement will have an initial term of three years with the potential to extend for a further 12 months. It is anticipated that the Framework Agreement will commence from the 3rd May 2022.

A Framework Agreement is an agreement between the contracting Council and one or more providers, the purpose of which is to establish the terms governing contracts to be awarded during a given period and it will be the mechanism for the Council to purchase relevant services.

This new agreement replaces the Moving and Assisting Individuals training framework (ref DN282308) which expired on the 31st August 2021.

This framework agreement will be accessed by direct award, whereby the Council will buy services from the Provider using a “Call-off” contract process. Contracts will not be formed until individual call-offs are made by the Council, by direct award using the terms and conditions set out in the framework.

Each service “called off” from the Framework Agreement Provider will include the Workforce Planning and Organisational Development Training Provider Order Form (this will be the contract between the Council and the Provider) and be covered by the terms and conditions of each training agreement.
