The strategic aim for this procurement is to establish a single framework agreement split into

three separate lots. One for Educational Furniture and the second for Office Furniture and

the third for Library Furniture. SCC wish to contract with suitable suppliers who can supply

and install the required products for each lot at the best value to the County Council.

Each lot will consist of three suppliers

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

This tender is for the supply, delivery and installation of office furniture including but not limited to; desks, chairs, pedestals, tambour units and meeting room furniture to Staffordshire County Council and other contracting authorities via call-off contracts under a Framework Agreement. The customer base comprises of approximately 1,800 ordering and delivery points.

The Framework shall include the supply of a range of Goods and Services including, but not

limited to space planning, site surveys, delivery, installation, desking, workstations, seating,

office storage and shelving, reception, dining room and training room furniture, bespoke

solutions for courtrooms and council chambers, high density static and mobile steel storage,

workplace assessments, furniture renovation and furniture management services.

This list of Goods is not exhaustive and additional Goods may be added on demand and

items may be removed.

The Pricing Schedules itemises the main standard items that will be purchased from the

Framework Agreement.

This tender is for the supply, delivery and installation of Furniture Apparatus and Equipment to Staffordshire County Council, Schools and Academies via call-off contracts under a

Framework Agreement.

The Framework Agreement is for the supply, delivery and Installation of educational furniture, apparatus and equipment to educational establishments which includes but is not limited to; desks, chairs, pedestals, tambour units, meeting room furniture and first aid equipment on an ad hoc basis as and when required by the County Council, Schools and Academies in Staffordshire.

The educational lot should also cater for school apparatus such as but not limited to Bunsen

Burners, sports equipment (netballs, rugby balls), Dining Room Furniture, library furniture

and playground equipment.
