These properties are physically located within the Brighton area and are in many cases already occupied.
The direct award of the contract to the existing supplier will ensure that the current housing management arrangements will continue for the benefit of the residents in the affected properties. Any change in service provision would result in difficulties with the operation of contract to the detriment of residents.
