two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Renfrewshire Council has the requirement to appoint an approved Scottish Government Single Building Assessment Consultant to carry out Single Building Assessments to 14 High Rises across Renfrewshire. These assessments are required to be carried out as part of the Cladding Remediation Programme that is administered by the Scottish Government.
The Consultant appointed will carry out an initial gateway assessment to determine if a full single building assessment is required. If a full Single Building Assessment is required, they will carry this out and then the work will be verified by a different consultant from the appointed organisation.
The Assessment and Verification process must be carried out in line with the Cladding Remediation Programme: Single Building Assessment Specification.
Tenderers will provide a fixed price for the following:
Initial Gateway Assessment
Full Single Building Assessment
Peer Review of Single Building Assessment
Tenderers bidding for this Contract must be Scottish Government Approved Single Building Assessment Consultants.

As part of the Cladding Remediation Programme Single Open Call the Scottish Government has established the following list of authorised SBA organisations that can provide quotes and conduct a grant funded SBA.
As part of the evaluation process, Renfrewshire Council will be evaluating as part of the Qualification Section whether tenderers are Single Building Assessment Approved.
