Description
Middlesbrough Borough Council (the Authority) owns a range of properties across the commercial and operational estate. Within the commercial estate there are over 500 units, which are a mix of industrial units, retail units and sub stations. The operational estate consists of over 100 buildings which are a mix of offices, public facing buildings e.g. libraries, community hubs, children's homes, and land such as car parks.
The Authority is seeking to establish Framework Agreements with suitable providers for the provision of Removals and Storage Services.

Lot 1. Removals with Larger Vehicle
Description

Lot 5. Crate Hire and Associated Goods
Description
Daily hire charge for crates with Delivery and Collection rates;
Provision of multicoloured crate labels;
Provision of cable ties for securing crates; and
Surcharge for missing or written off crates.

Framework operation description
The Framework will operate by the Authority deciding operationally how best to utilise the service taking into account the Framework cost, distance to travel, capacity and availability. This may include the use of mini competitions where deemed suitable by the Authority.

Award criteria
The Supplier Questionnaire (SQ) will be evaluated on a Pass/Fail basis.
Suppliers who pass the SQ will be evaluated using the following criteria:
Price - 60%
Quality - 30%
Social Value - 10%
The points awarded to the above areas will be added together to give a final score.
A maximum of 3 suppliers will be awarded to each Lot.
The 3 highest scoring Bids for each Lot will be deemed to be the most advantageous tenders for the Authority to consider.
