Scope
Description
Trent & Dove Housing is seeking to engage with the market to inform the upcoming re-procurement of its Fire Prevention Equipment Servicing and Maintenance contract.
The service covers the planned inspection, testing, servicing, maintenance and reactive repair of a range of fire safety systems installed across Trent & Dove's housing stock. This includes (but is not limited to) fire alarms and smoke detection systems, emergency lighting, extinguishers, fire blankets, fire curtains and shutters, sprinkler and suppression systems, fire brigade drop key systems, dry and wet risers, and associated controls and sensors.
The appointed provider will be expected to ensure all equipment and systems remain fully operational, compliant with current legislation and British Standards, and that certification, testing, and reporting are accurate and timely. The contract will support Trent & Dove's statutory duties for fire safety and compliance across general needs, supported housing, and communal areas.
Trent & Dove is committed to maintaining 100% compliance, improving customer satisfaction, and driving efficiency through digital systems integration, automation of work orders, and real-time data sharing. The procurement aims to identify experienced providers who can deliver high-quality, customer-focused services, operate safely within occupied homes, and demonstrate innovation in planned and preventative maintenance.
Social value, sustainability, and workforce development are key considerations. Providers will be expected to support local employment and training, minimise environmental impact, and contribute to the wider social and community objectives of Trent & Dove Housing.
