The Education Alliance are looking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System for professional services in construction and premises contracts within the UK (excluding Scotland). The DPS Agreement will cover projects including, but is not limited to, new builds, extensions, refurbishments, housing builds, multi-complex builds, works covering the railway industry, infrastructure projects, etc. The procurement will be a single stage process following the Public Contract Regulations 2015 open procedure. The DPS agreement will be established and coincide with the recently awarded framework for professional services in construction and premises 2024 and will be coterminous in April 2028. The DPS will be split in to 22 categories, this DPS agreement is being advertised and tendered, so it can be utilised by all Public-sector bodies, including Charities in the UK (excluding Scotland). This is a corrigendum for the Dynamic Purchasing System for Professional Services in Construction and Premises 2024 UK. This is to update the number of categories of this DPS by adding an additional 5 categories to the existing 22.This DPS remains open to new bidders. All existing Contractor placements on the live Dynamic Purchasing System for Professional Services in Construction and Premises 2024 UK will be maintained. For any new applications, please apply via the following link: https://app.pagabo.co.uk/loginThe additional categories are as follows:Social Value Consultant - To Provide client organisations with access to consultants that can provide consultive services and solutions to assist them in various aspects of reviewing Social Value being delivered by and to the client organisation.Registered Building Inspector - To provide client organisations registered building control approvers are companies or individuals authorised under the Building Act 1984 to carry out building control work in England and Wales. The Building Safety Regulator (BSR) is the body responsible for deciding all applications for registered building control approver status in England. This Category is only applicable for projects in England or Wales.Building Regulations Principal Designer – To provide client organisations with access to Building Regulations Principal Designers (BRPD), covering both High-Risk Buildings (HRBs) and non-HRB. This category is for the appointment of a Principal Designer in relation to The Building Regulations etc. (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2023 and in accordance with PAS 8671 (a BRPD). Appointing an organisation on this category will allow a public sector organisation to show they are complying with their duties under the law. To be appointed to this category on the Professional Services DPS, an organisation must confirm that they have people within their organisation that meet the applicable criteria outlined in the full scope of the category. This Category is only applicable for projects in England or Wales.Construction Management Services – To provide client organisations access to Construction Management Services, which allow the client to appoint a construction manager to oversee the project, while individual trade contractors are contracted directly by the employer to carry out the construction work. The construction manager acts as the employer's agent, managing the project, coordinating the trade contractors, and administering the contracts. PFI Contractual, Legal + Technical Services Support and PFI Expiry Legal, Technical and Operational Project Management This category is for the appointment of a Professional and Technical Services PFI Contract management Service. The provider organisation must be able to provide technical, commercial and legal expertise in relation to managing, negotiating, and the operational delivery of all aspects of the PFI environment including but not limited to Benchmarking and Market Testing, Variation Management, Contractual Compliance Deduction Management, Lifecycle Optimisation, Energy Management and Statutory Compliance Condition Audits , Soft FM and Hard FM service delivery modelling, Procurement and tendering, FF+E Reconciliations. The organisation will also have direct access to qualified technical service professionals in applicable categories.To be appointed to this category, an organisation must confirm that they meet the criteria outlined in the scopeThe organisation will also have direct access to qualified technical service professionals in Building Surveying, Mechanical and Electrical consultancy, Quantity Surveying, and Architectural Services.
