Description

Telford & Wrekin Council (the Council) is responsible for administering of the Disabled Facilities Grant. Where it is chosen by the Client this also includes managing the installation of accessible bathrooms / shower rooms, internal remodelling and ramped access where these are to be funded in whole or part from the grant.

All works are within private domestic properties either owned or rented by the grant applicant.

There are 2 Lots:

Lot 1 DFG Grant works schedule of rates (works up to £30k)

Lot 2 DFG Grant project (works up to £120k

Framework operation description

The framework will commence on 9th December 2025 and will continue for a period of Eight year(s) unless terminated earlier in accordance with the framework terms and conditions.

This is an Open Framework which can be reopened at set times during its operation to give new Approved Providers the opportunity to join. The Council intends to reopen the framework after Year 1 (with the option to delay this until Year 3), and again after Year 5.

If you are awarded a place on the original framework you will be asked if you want to remain on the framework when it is reopened. When the framework is reopened new applications will be evaluated. The objective is to source a wide choice of Approved Providers (including Small, Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to provide value for money for the taxpayer, in a quicker and more efficient way.

The estimated total value of the framework over the eight years total framework period is a maximum value of £25 million but no guarantee is given as to the actual value of the framework.
