Description
The City of York Council (CYC) is conducting this Procurement to select a supplier for the provision of City of York Council (the Employer) wishes to appoint up to a maximum of five (5) Civil Engineering Contractors, under a new Framework Agreement, to deliver capital maintenance and other construction projects, to start on site from 1st December 2025 and ending 30th November 2027. The Contractors will be required to undertake construction projects for City of York Council's capital maintenance programme and other schemes

Framework operation description
Each package of works will be a Task Order using the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Short Contract (ECSC).
The Employer (Council) may direct award Call-off Contracts, in accordance with the Framework Agreement, based on the rates submitted by each Contractor, without re-opening competition.
Alternatively, the Client may also invite tenders, for Call-off Contracts, by conducting a mini-competition, and awarding the works, to the most competitive Contractor. The Call of Process for each Contract is to be determined by the Employer's Project Manager.
