Description
This framework covers the supply of first aid supplies and disposable PPE, including first aid consumables and equipment, first aid furniture, personal hygiene and sanitary products, and disposable gloves. Goods are for delivery to ESPO's warehouse, with larger equipment/furniture products to be delivered directly to ESPO customers.
The Framework is divided into 3 lots.

Description of possible extension:
Once the initial period of the contract has ended (i.e., 31 March 2028), there is an option to extend the framework by up to a further 23 months. This is dependent on ESPO, ESPO Customers, and market needs, as well as the performance of sales.
All estimated values captured in this notice include the option to extend the framework as noted above.

ESPO reserves the right to add or remove products throughout the life of the contract within the scope of the framework.

Bulk supply of first aid supplies and consumables, including personal hygiene and sanitary products for delivery to ESPO's Distribution Centre, Leicester.

Bulk supply of disposable gloves and disposable PPE including, but not limited to, face masks, aprons, hairnets and overshoes for delivery to ESPO's Distribution Centre, Leicester.

Further information about fees
Framework Fees will be based on a percentage of the total turnover of business conducted by Suppliers under the Framework, and shall be payable every 6 months.

Framework operation description
It should be noted that the Framework could be used, as outlined in option 1 and 2 below, by ESPO where first aid supplies and disposable PPE is required:
Option 1 -Call-off without competition
'Calling-off' Goods from the awarded Supplier who is a) included in the Framework and b) identified as offering the most advantageous solution to ESPO's requirements, based on the Framework award decision.
For Lots (including sub-lots), purchase orders will be placed with the awarded Supplier(s) as required by ESPO.
Option 2 - Call-off with competition (Competitive Selection Process)
'Calling-off' by conducting a competition (competitive selection process) amongst those Suppliers identified in the Framework as being able to provide the required Goods.

Tenderers must hold certified membership with the British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) or equivalent, or are working towards gaining membership.

Lot 3. Disposable Gloves and Disposable PPE
Tenderers must enclose a copy / copies of the latest independent factory audit report(s) (e.g. SEDEX). These must be relevant to the factories from which goods under the scope of this framework will be supplied.
