Description
This Contract will principally cover reactive repairs, planned maintenance, quotation work and project work on the Client's Premises across NI Water's wide range of
assets and equipment (e.g. pumps, screening equipment, RBC's, compressors and blowers, vacuum systems, valves and pipework, gearboxes, fabrication, machining, mixers,
macerators, structures etc.) covering a wide variety of makes and models of equipment.
The main areas of work under the contract are:
a) Mechanical installation and maintenance. General mechanical upgrades across the client Premises
b) Planned mechanical maintenance/ repair across the Client Premises
c) Reactive mechanical maintenance/ repair across the Client Premises
d) Fabrication punching, boring, machining of sheet metal structures on site and in the Contractor's workshop
e) Heavy Mechanical engineering on large diameter pipework, pumps, screens and mechanical structures to include refurbishment, manufacture and installation on site.
f) Annual inspection and maintenance of the Client's workshop facilities/equipment and craftsmen equipment. (PUWER)
g) Strip, investigate, repair, machine and re-assemble Mechanical Equipment across the client's premises to include large pumps pipework, and structures where special lifting equipment may be required
h) Supply and repair of gearboxes in accordance with all current legislation/ regulations, WIMES specifications, manufacturer recommendations and other industry standards
i) Special projects which may include, but are not be limited to - project management, energy efficiency projects, technical support/advice, site surveys, design services etc. This may apply to all site types including more complex mechanical installations/ site refurbishments.
j) Asset Condition reporting / monitoring.
k) Provision of Management information Reports to client
l) Any statutory or legislative requirements associated with M&E maintenance not currently identified in the above list but within the scope of the Contract; e.g. regulation of pressure vessels and pipework.
m) A programme/survey of facilities assets data collation and provision of relevant data.

NI Water plans to hold a Supplier Presentation Session in October 2025 (date and time TBC).
