Description
The Supported Lodgings service in Bedford provides a vital resource for young people transitioning from care to independent living.
The supported lodgings service offers young people aged between 16-25 a safe and supportive environment where they can develop the skills needed for independent living. Hosts play a crucial role in providing stability and guidance during this transitional period.
Objectives for project
1. Increase Host Recruitment: Drive a targeted recruitment campaign to attract more hosts.
2. Strengthen the Current Model: Explore alternative providers and create a framework to encourage participation.
3. Optimise Placements: Maximise the number of hosts and move young people from costly provisions to supported lodgings, generating savings and ensuring local placements.

Framework operation description
Minimum Quality: Bidders should be aware that, regardless of their price, to be considered for award of this contract they must achieve a total qualitative evaluation score of no less than 50%, with the exception of the Social Value question.
Minimum Overall Score: Bidders with an overall score of 50% with be awarded a place on the Framework. For avoidance of doubt overall score is a combination of Quality 60% and Price 40%.
Following the Procurement Specific Questionnaire evaluation and compliance checks, each Bid will be evaluated and scored against the award criteria and weightings set out in the ITT and Bidders ranked in line with their overall scores.
