Description
The BSOL Procurement Collaborative, hosted by University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) intends to tender for a Framework Agreement that aims to provide a full product offering for the Orthotic service inclusive of Made to Measure/Modular/Off the Shelf products for the health and care partners of NHS Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care Board.
The initial Participating Authorities are:
Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust
Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust
University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust
The intention is to enter into a Framework for an initial period of 24 months with an options to extend for 2 x 12 month periods.
The Goods/Services have been divided into the following (Lots):

Lot 3a M2M - Lower Limb (Plastic)

Engagement process description
HealthTrust Europe and BSOL will hold a virtual engagement session through with potential suppliers who were able to provide products and services detailed in the scope of the procurement, which included made to measure, modular and off the shelf/stock Orthoses.

This engagement will be a Virtual Event on MSTeams held on the 5th September 2025 0900 - 1000, potential Suppliers request an invitation by emailing William.Malcolm@htepg.com no later that 1500 on 4th September 2025.
This engagement exercise aims to:
- Establish a final procedure, conditions of participation and award criteria
- Identify all potential suppliers for this requirement (including VCSEs and SMEs) and provide the opportunity to be awarded to the framework
- Establish an understanding the commercial structure that aligns to market expectations and will meet the requirements of any Contracting Authorities
- Notifying the market and building capacity to prepare for the procurement and contract award
