This activity will consist of 3 Phases Phase 1 – WYCA’s Bus Reform Open Day – 10th September 2025 in Leeds WYCA’s Bus Reform Team including our internal subject matter experts would like to invite you to join us during an Open Day session to discuss Electronic Ticketing Machines (ETMs) and Automatic Vehicle Locators (AVLs). Phase 2 – Submitting Suppliers’ responses to shared questions Suppliers are asked to respond to shared in Appendix 2 list of questions by 17th September 2025 Phase 3 – On-Line sessions with suppliers, presentations and Q&As on 22nd and 25th September Suppliers are invited to engage with the Project Team in 1-1 on-line sessions (through MS Teams), to cover project’s introduction, suppliers’ presentations and Q&A sessions. Bus Reform is a key priority for the Mayor and the Combined Authority. On 12th May 2025, we unveiled the Weaver Network as the overarching brand identity of the public transport system in West Yorkshire, in line with our emerging Local Transport Plan and Mass Transit scheme. More information on WYCA’s Bus Reform programme can be found at www.westyorks-ca.gov.uk/improving-transport/improving-buses The successful delivery, implementation and operation of on-board technology including electronic ticketing and automatic vehicle location is a critical part of the region’s Bus Reform programme.
