Description
Overview:
Bedford Borough Council invites tenders from experienced contractors to deliver comprehensive maintenance services across our temporary accommodation property portfolio. This includes both owned and leased properties—currently totalling 137 units, with plans to expand to 321 by 2028.
Scope of Services:
The successful contractor(s) will be expected to provide:
Full maintenance services
Compliance and statutory inspections
Responsive and planned repairs
Ad hoc works as required
Total value (estimated)
- £7,000,000 excluding VAT
- £8,400,000 including VAT
Above the relevant threshold
Contract dates (estimated)
- 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2029
- Possible extension to 31 December 2031
- 6 years
