Description
Overview:
Bedford Borough Council invites tenders from experienced contractors to deliver comprehensive maintenance services across our temporary accommodation property portfolio. This includes both owned and leased properties-currently totalling 137 units, with plans to expand to 321 by 2028.
Scope of Services:
The successful contractor(s) will be expected to provide:
Full maintenance services
Compliance and statutory inspections
Responsive and planned repairs
Ad hoc works as required
Total value (estimated)
- £7,000,000 excluding VAT
- £8,400,000 including VAT
Above the relevant threshold
Contract dates (estimated)
- 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2029
- Possible extension to 31 December 2031
- 6 years

Options to extend of 2 periods of up to 12 months
