Description
North West Leicestershire District Council (NWLDC) owns and maintains approximately 4,083 domestic properties and 171 Garages. To support its in-house Repairs Team (IRT) and planned maintenance programmes, the Council requires a licensed and competent contractor to undertake asbestos removal, remediation, and disposal services across its housing stock and relevant non-domestic properties.
The initial contract period is 24 months, with the option to extend the contract for a further two periods of 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance and business need, and at the sole discretion of the Council.

Justification for not using lots
NWLDC wish to liaise with a single supplier for contract management and monitoring purposes, however we are happy for sub-contractors to be used subject to the relevant checks and robust sub-contractor monitoring procedures.
