East Herts Council is seeking to increase the number of publicly available charge points across the district via entering a mutually beneficial concession contract with an EV Charge Point Operator to install, manage and maintain a minimum of 60 charge points in its car parks. The charge points are to be spread across the district and providing at least 10 DC chargers. The council expect the tendered number of chargers to be final, installed within the first three years of what will be a 15 year contract and to return a revenue to the Council via lease fees and profit share.
