Section three. Legal, economic, financial and technical information

three.1) Conditions for participation

List and brief description of conditions

The Principal Contractor and his Sub-Contractors are to have this insurance cover with a minimum cover of £1,000,000. If the Principal Contractor or his sub-Contractor does not have this insurance cover please contact agent.

The Principal Contractor shall indemnify the Employer against any losses costs or damages arising out of damage to persons or property either on the site or adjoining property where negligence can be proved on the part of the Principal Contractor, his servants, agents, sub-contractors or of any person employed or engaged by the Principal Contractor upon or in connection with the works or any part thereof. Insurance policy in respect of employees or apprentices, shall comply with the Employer's Liability (Compulsory Insurance) Act 1969 and any statutory orders or amendments thereto.

Insurance covers to be not less than £1,000,000 for Public and Products Liability and £10,000,000 for employer's Liability.

The submitted tender shall include for all items which may reasonably be inferred although not specifically shown on drawings or mentioned in the schedule and specification, no extras will be allowed unless confirmed in writing by CA / Employer.

Principal Contractor to allow for all costs for meeting with their duties under CDM regulations.

Constructors wishing to tender for these works are required to have Accreditation or Membership of Professional/Trade Body
