two.2.4) Description of the procurement

1. The primary purpose of this prior information notice (PIN) is to alert potential suppliers to a potential opportunity in relation to grounds maintenance services across Windsor and Maidenhead and to invite them to provide initial feedback to assist with its delivery model. At present, the lotting structure is to be determined. It is likely the opportunity will be formally published in Autumn 2025. Future waves of market engagement are envisaged. We are simply exploring options at this stage.

2. This contract term has not been determined, nor has the financial envelope. However, the current contract is approximately 10+5 with a spend of £1.5m per annum. This is not a commitment from RBWM but more so to give potential suppliers a flavour of historic activities.

3. The services are a core requirement for RBWM and it is expected that commencement of the new contracts shall be no later than October 2026, following around 5 months of mobilisation. However, this is yet to be finalised. RBWM is currently considering its procurement route - we are not making conclusive representations at this juncture.

4. RBWM is inviting suppliers to respond to the below survey: https://forms.office.com/e/Y5FvkFAzdL. Please feel free to provide as little or as much detail as you wish - most questions are non-mandatory. In the alternative, and should you have any other questions, please contact: Joey.Stanford@RBWM.gov.uk. We would also welcome 1-2-1 Teams discussions - simply e-mail Joey Stanford (above) with names of attendees and preferred dates. Please note that the deadline for feedback is 17/01/2025 by 1pm.
