AWE is seeking a provider to create and deliver a 2-year (with an option to extend for an additional 1 year) inclusive engagement programme for schools and colleges to attract applicants to its apprenticeship programmes. This programme will include both in-person and virtual engagements with students, school staff, and parents/carers, complementing AWE's existing STEM engagement efforts. The provider will work closely with AWE's Early Careers recruitment team and the ESG team to ensure the programme's success and to enhance the AWE Nuclear Security Technologies brand.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The apprenticeship opportunities span levels 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6-degree apprenticeships, with demand reviewed annually. The provider must demonstrate flexibility and effectiveness in adapting to changes in demand to ensure successful recruitment outcomes.
For the 2024/25 campaign, there are currently 22 roles across these levels, and similar numbers are expected for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 campaigns.
The provider should show evidence of their ability to handle annual changes in demand, both in planning and mid-campaign, and take necessary actions to redirect attraction efforts to ensure success. The provider will also be expected to create, monitor and deliver an award winning 1-1 recruitment mentoring programme for local students.
