NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU on behalf of Birmingham Women and Children's NHS Foundation Trust, as Lead Provider of the West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative (WMCPC) (https://toucanwestmids.nhs.uk/), intend to commission an Admission and Triage Unit (ATU) for children and young people within the West Midlands (aged 13-18) who require intensive mental health support and a brief admission for assessment if required.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The WMCPC intends to commission an Admission and Triage Unit (ATU) for children and young people within the West Midlands (aged 13-18) who require intensive mental health support and a brief admission for assessment if required.

The intention is to award a contract using the Most Suitable Provider Process. As a result of this process, a contract will be awarded to the most suitable provider for a period of 2 years.

It is anticipated that the service provision resulting from this process will have an annual value of £2,000,000.

The Commissioner requires interested organisations to submit a formal expression of interest in the form of a completed and returned Expression of Interest Form (EOI Form). The submission of a completed EOI form will allow the WMCPC to consider your organisation for assessment as part of the Most Suitable Provider (MSP) process. In order to be considered, your completed EOI form must be completed via the eProcurement portal (see details in II.2.14 below) by 3pm on Friday 6th December 2024.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intended approach notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.
