two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Cleaning Contract 01.04.2024 – 31.03.2027

The Snowdonia National Park Authority intends to seek tenders for the provision of Building Cleaning Services for a range of properties for a period of 3 years commencing 1 April 2024.

The Building Cleaning Services contract is mainly within the area of the National Park covering approximately 838 square miles. The contract will comprise of the day to day cleaning of 16 Public Conveniences, some of which are in remote locations and 1 Office.

Service providers are invited to express an interest in Tendering by submitting an application in writing with a company portfolio. The company portfolio should include evidence of the following:

1. Audited accounts for the last 3 years or an explanation as to why audited accounts for the stipulated period are not available.

2. Bank information.

3. Two trade and credit referees.

4. Experience showing relevant areas of work such as office and public toilet cleaning.

5. Full details of Quality Assurance systems and associated monitoring processes such as an electronic site presence logging system in operation to include remote locations with limited/no mobile signal.

6. Health and Safety Policy / Statement.

7. Environmental Policy / Statement.

8. IIP or staff training

9. A description of how you will commit to fair working practices for workers engaged in the delivery of this contract (including any agency or sub-contracted workers). This could include things like details of a fair and equal pay policy, promoting equal opportunities for all staff, flexible working arrangements etc.

10. TUPE experience

Please note, companies who are subsequently invited to Tender will be required to provide a demonstration of their Quality Assurance and monitoring systems in place, including electronic site presence logging systems for all sites to include remote sites with limited/no mobile signal. Final Tender submissions will be assessed using the following weighting factors: Price - 70%, Quality Assurance – 30%.
