Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee.
Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:
Completion of RIBA 3 moved from Aug to Nov 2022 which was also
then linked to the contractors requesting an extension of time on
the ITT period. This lead to an unforeseen prolongation of the MDT
work. The chosen contractor then reviewed the RIBA 2 docs, and
submitted a programme to move PAC from Aug 2023 to Nov 2023.
This led to an unforeseen prolongation of the programme and impacted the contract end date.
