two.1.4) Short description
NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board is seeking to appoint suitable providers to provide GP-Led Community Dermatology Services.
The aim is to operate, as much as is practicable, as a ‘one-stop-shop’ service e.g. ability to deliver opportunistic punch biopsy/diagnostic tests immediately if possible and provide high quality services in an appropriate setting without the need to refer to secondary care.
The contract will be for an initial term of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years, service commencement date of March 2025.
The services to which this procurement relates falls within the Schedule 1 of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. As such, the procurement of the services is being run under Direct Award Process B.
This exercise is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner.
