The Scottish Government has committed to providing additional funding in the form of Pupil Equity Funding (PEF), to schools as part of the Scottish Attainment Challenge programme. This funding is allocated directly to schools and is aimed at closing the poverty related

attainment gap. The aim of this framework agreement is to allow schools to contract compliantly with providers who will be able to support the pupil equity fund.

External expert service provision whereby working alongside teaching staff, knowledge and skills will be used to enhance the curriculum. This support may be provided through teacher training, classroom observations, assistance with class lessons and working with pupils on a group or one to one basis. Experts will provide a high degree of specific professional knowledge in areas including but not limited to; resilience coaching, literacy and numeracy. However, please note that this does not incorporate literacy interventions and numeracy interventions which are covered by Lots 7 and 8 respectively.
