TfL-00466 LOT2 was a 5-year Pan TfL services contract, awarded to Lanes Group Plc in 2017.
It commenced 01 April 2017 and was initially extended for 22 months from its original end date of 31 March 2022 till 24 January 2024. The contract is priced throughout its duration based on a fixed schedule of rates called off for related scope of services.

The previous PPM obligations under the original contract was de-scoped as a temporary cost-saving measure; however, increased risk of non-compliance has increased the urgency of bring back the PPM regimes. The sourcing and mobilization timescales required for a new provision will heighten this without the guarantee of better value.
Lack of asset data is likely to increase priced risks for new suppliers.
There will also be a gap in both reactive and PPM provisions between when the current provision expires, and new one comes on board, as the business could not commit to a retender earlier due to funding constraints.
