Blackpool Coastal Housing (BCH) is looking to appoint a contractor to supply and deliver furniture and essential household electrical appliances to support its aim to provide a furnished tenancy service. A specification has been written that sets out what the requirements of the contract are. As this will be a brand new service for BCH we would like to work with an organisation with experience of providing this sort of service. This is to ensure the service has the best chance of success and can be extended beyond its initial 12 month pilot period.
BCH wishes to appoint a Contractor who can clearly demonstrate the ability to meet our requirements and who offers the most economically advantageous tender.
It is anticipated that the pilot term will be for twelve months and that the service will be run as a proof of concept by offering furnished tenancies to those requiring furnished one bed room accommodation. If the pilot is successful, subject to contract review and budget availability, there will be the option to extend incrementally for a period of 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 years.
