Leicestershire County Council is undertaking a procurement process to identify and appoint additional service providers to provide Domiciliary Care disabled children’s services as described below.
Lot 2: Domiciliary Care - Domiciliary care is a statutory service that the Council has a duty to provide and it relates to the provision of care and support to children and families in their own home (e.g. personal care, meal preparation, moving and handling etc.).
The framework also has another Lot (Lot 1: Short Breaks (Play & Leisure)) but this reopen is only to appoint additional service providers for Lot 2.

Leicestershire County Council (LCC) will ensure information on the award of the contract is
communicated to all tenderers. Tenderers who are unsuccessful shall be informed by LCC as
soon as possible after the decision has been made as to the reasons why the
applicant/tenderer was unsuccessful. If an appeal regarding the award of the contract has
not been successfully resolved, the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved
parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by breach of the rules to take legal
action. Any such action must be brought within the applicable limitation period. Where a
contract has not been entered into the Court may order the setting aside of the award
decision or order for any document to be amended.
