Scope

Description

Paradigm Housing Group Limited are looking to appoint one or more providers to deliver Insurance and related services for Residential Property and other general (non-life) insurable risks.

The programme will require Property Insurance and related services for ten large residential properties and may include but not be limited to: property damage and related business interruption (Lots 1 and 2), and possibly property owners liability (optional Lot 3). This list is to be decided at the sole discretion of Paradigm Housing Group Limited.

Suppliers will be required to have the financial ability to deliver the programme, including Insurers with a minimum rating of 'BBB' from standard and poor, 'B++' from AM Best, or an equivalent rating by an independent and reputable credit rating agency and approved by the bidder's market security committee. In the case of any rating less than A-, the contracting authority will evaluate and accept the nominated insurer(s) at its sole discretion, subject to disclosure and acceptance prior to the ITT bid deadline of the bidder's market security committee's latest report, including written recommendation from the bidder's market security committee.

Suppliers will be assessed but not limited to the following high level criterion:

- The ability to provide the Contracting Authority with a choice of suitable insurers and/or suitable cover options

- A skilled and competent service team, being Client Relationship Management, Insurance Claims management, Insurance Broking / underwriting and insurable risk managers

- The delivery of quality service to the Contracting Authority and our clients, including that provided to us by any third-party contractor employed by you or by the Insurer(s) you propose.

The contracting authority reserves the right to award contracts combining the following lots or groups of lots: Lots 1-3 will be individually evaluated and multiple awards may result. Where the respondent is an insurance Broker, it may choose to place the insurance(s) required within each Lot with different insurers at it's discretion, but full details of the risk carrier(s) will be required. Lot 3 is an optional Lot which would replace Lots 1 and 2 if awarded.

This Lot consists of excess-value FLEA perils insurance cover for 10 specified blocks of residential property. Value in excess of primary £5m of FLEA cover per property.

Description

Optional primary Property insurance cover for 10 blocks of residential property, as required by Paradigm Housing Group Limited. This Lot will only be awarded if Lots 1 and 2 are not Awarded and if it proves financially preferable to the Contracting Authority to remove the specified properties from its existing primary insurance cover, which currently limits cover iro FLEA perils to £5m per property and with a £1m FLEA perils Excess.
