These listed venues require meticulous cleaning standards to ensure a hygienic, safe, and welcoming environment for visitors and to protect the heritage features of each site. The Council’s focus on sustainability and commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2030 means the chosen provider will be required to incorporate eco-friendly cleaning practices and products as part of their service.

- Adherence to sustainability goals, with the use of non-toxic cleaning agents, recycling, and waste reduction measures

The cleaning services will also occasionally be extended to other council-owned sites, such as but not limited to, the Ross Bandstand, to meet operational needs.

Objectives - The main objectives for this contract are to:

1. Provide high-quality, sustainable cleaning services that safeguard the venue’s reputation, protect client and customer interests, and support the financial goals of the venue.

2. Maintain public health and safety by ensuring hygienic conditions for visitors and staff.

4. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including conservation guidelines for heritage-listed venues.

Contract Duration - The contract is anticipated to commence in June 2025, with an initial duration of two years, with the possibility of two 1-year extensions (up to a maximum of four years).
