The project includes scaffold access, temporary roof protections, removal of existing coverings, installation of new roofing materials, associated lead and flashing works, rainwater goods, and coordination with rooftop services (including existing M&E and PV units). The project will run concurrently with a separate cladding package, with shared access and logistics to be coordinated.
Please note this is a live and operational public building, and works will need to be phased to maintain safe museum operations, and ensure that the building is kept fully water tight to protect the irreplaceable collections housed in the building.
