A Teams link will then be sent nearer the date. The Council are seeking EPC (Engineer Procure and Construct) proposals for the turn-key design, installation and commissioning of the 20 MWp Solar Farm in West Berkshire. The Contractor’s scope will include all works required to deliver a fully compliant, safe, efficient and working installation. This Procurement will seek to pre-qualify capable and interested organisations and then evaluate shortlisted Supplier bids, including technical and commercial proposals, in order to award a contract to a single preferred Supplier.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Council is seeking to appoint an EPC (Engineer Procure and Construct) Supplier, or consortium who is skilled, experienced and capable of delivering site investigation, design, installation and commissioning of a 20MWp solar farm near Grazeley in West Berkshire. The Supplier will be solely responsible for specifying the Solar Farm requirements and will be required to operate and maintain the Solar Farm to an agreed performance standard, for a period of at least 2 years before it is handed back to the Council.This Procurement will seek to pre-qualify capable and interested organisations and then evaluate shortlisted Supplier bids, including technical and commercial proposals, in order to award a contract to a single preferred Supplier.The Council will hold a Supplier briefing on Teams on Friday 08th November 2024 (11am – 12.30pm) post-documents being issued, to ensure prospective Bidders have all the information required to respond to this opportunity and are afforded the opportunity to ask any clarification questions. Suppliers who wish to attend the briefing should register on the Council’s procurement portal (Intend) West Berkshire Electronic Tendering Site - Home and send a message through the portal to confirm their attendance. Suppliers will then receive a Teams link to join the briefing.
