The London Borough of Hillingdon (the Council) is looking for four (4) suitably qualified contractors for an adaptation service for people with disabilities, which includes vulnerable & the elderly in accordance with the Employers requirements.
Works will include:
● Level access showers
● Over bath showers
● Specialist toilets
● Kitchens
● Internal/external doors
● Door widening
● Minor internal works
● Patio installation/levelling
● Fencing
Consisting of both private ownership & tenanted properties all of which will be grant funded works in accordance with the Housing Grants, Construction & Regeneration Act 1996, or as amended. In addition, the Contract extends to all disabled adaptations work to Hillingdon's housing stock as well. Areas are defined by the postcode which in simple terms defines as follows:
Lot 1 - Area North postcodes: UB9, HA6, HA5
Lot 2 - Area Central postcodes: UB10, HA4, UB8
Lot 3 – Area South postcodes: UB7, UB4, UB3
Lot 4 – Back Up Contractor (optional) All areas
The Council intends to Award contracts to different Contractors for all Lots.
All bidders must price for Lots 1, 2 & Lot 3.
Lot 4 is optional.
The London Borough of Hillingdon retains the right not to award Lot 1, Lot 2, Lot 3 or Lot 4 to one single contractor.
The London Borough of Hillingdon retains the right to award only one, some, all, or none of the available Lots.
If the highest ranked bidder is ranked 1st for more than one Lot, the Council will give that bidder a preference of a Lot Area of its choice from those it is ranked 1st.
Following the choice of the 1st ranked bidder, If the 2nd highest ranked bidder remains ranked 2nd for more than one Lot, the Council will give that bidder a preference of a Lot Area of its choice from those it is ranked 2nd.
If the bidders ranked 1st & 2nd on the remaining Lot have already been allocated Lots, the 3rd placed bidder will be allocated this remaining Lot.
